5 free agent cornerbacks Baltimore Ravens must sign before training camp
1. Baltimore Ravens should sign Anthony Brown
The Baltimore Ravens already have an Anthony Brown, so why not make it just a little bit confusing with the defensive version? The quarterback may not be long for Baltimore anyways. Anthony Brown is another player that is a bit surprising to see out here at this point in the offseason.
He will only be 30 years old this season, and while 2022 was not his best year, he has been a staple n the Cowboys' secondary; he has had 69 starts since 2016, all of them coming with the Cowboys. Dallas upgraded to Stephon Gilmore, but someone should look into Brown.
Brown is another player who has moved in and out of the slot. He has 3,242 snaps as an outside cornerback and 1,374 snaps as a slot cornerback.
This is another player who could come in and be the backup to Rock Ya-Sin, or push him better than anyone else does. However, he also very well may be asked to start in the slot, or at least take some snaps, as they shuffle in Brown, Hamilton, and Pepe Williams. All around, it makes a lot of sense for the Baltimore Ravens to give Anthony Brown a call.
