Which players on the Baltimore Ravens are locks to make the 53-man roster?

The preseason is all about the bubble players making a case for themselves to be on the active roster. For the Baltimore Ravens, some spots were locked up with the second preseason game. So, with less than a week until the Ravens trim things down to 53, there are questions about how many spots are actually up for grabs in the preseason finale.

Identifying locks for the Baltimore Ravens 53-man roster

Quarterback (2) - Lamar Jackson, Josh Johnson

You can say that it is crazy to put Johnson over Huntley, but the reality is that when you play the numbers, the Ravens have two locks, and whoever the third quarterback is will still be looking outside.

Running Back (4) - JK Dobbins, Gus Edwards, Justice Hill, Patrick Ricard

The only questions here will be Melvin Gordon and Keaton Mitchell, who sit firmly on the roster bubble.

Wide Receiver (5) - Rashod Bateman, Zay Flowers, Odell Beckham, Devin Duvernay, Nelson Agholor

Tylan Wallace is so close to locking up that sixth wide receiver spot, but he has one more week, and there are enough depth names that we cannot call it yet.

Tight End (3) - Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely, Charlie Kolar

Travis Vokolek had a strong preseason, but the odds of him circling back to the practice squad are high.

Offensive Line (9)- Ronnie Stanley, Kevin Zeitler, Tyler Linderbaum, Sala Aumavae-Laulu, Morgan Moses, John Simpson, Ben Cleveland, Daniel Faalele, Patrick Mekari

The only question here is whether they can keep a tenth lineman with Sam Mustipher in the mix. Also, could they get anything back in a trade for Ben Cleveland? Maybe a conditional pick?

Defensive Line (6) - Justin Madubuike, Broderick Washington, Travis Jones, Michael Pierce, Angelo Blackson, Brent Urban

These six look to be locked in, and it is hard to see anyone else pushing them.

Edge Rushers (4) - Jadeveon Clowney, Odafe Oweh, David Ojabo, Tavius Robinson (Tyus Bowser on PUP)

It has now become a lock that Tyus Bowser will be on the PUP when the Baltimore Ravens regular season starts. This opens a spot, and now maybe a fifth, or technically sixth edge rusher could make it.

Linebacker (5) - Patrick Queen, Roquan Smith, Del'Shawn Phillips, Malik Harrison, Trenton Simpson

Del'Shawn Phillips has proven that he is a lock for the Baltimore Ravens roster, as he is still ahead of Trenton Simpson. The only other question is whether one or both of Kristian Welch and Josh Ross make the roster.

Cornerback (5) - Marlon Humphrey, Rock Ya-Sin, Ar'Darius Washington, Ronald Darby, Brandon Stephens

With Ar'Darius Washington earning a roster spot and likely a starting spot with the Ravens and Ronald Darby in the mix, the room is coming together quickly. Bubble players would include Kyu Blu Kelly, Jalyn Armour-Davis, and Kevon Seymour.

Safety (4) - Marcus Williams, Kyle Hamilton, Geno Stone, Daryl Worley

This feels pretty locked in, with the only question being DeAndre Houston-Carson, who could make it as the fifth safety?
