We are about two weeks away from the Baltimore Ravens setting their 53-man roster for the first time. While we do not know exactly what the roster will look like, the majority of the spots are locked down. So, we will go through the roster and identify the locks, to see just how many open spots there are for surprises when the final 53 comes.

Quarterback (2), 2 total - Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley

The Baltimore Ravens could keep a third quarterback, but their room is not strong enough, and they need the depth elsewhere.

Running back (4), 6 total - JK Dobbins, Gus Edwards, Justice Hill, Patrick Ricard

The roster bubble players would be Melvin Gordon and Keaton Mitchell. The usage of Gordon in the preseason shows he is not close to a lock, and Mitchell will need to excel in the return game to make the roster.

Wide Receiver (5), 11 total - Rashod Bateman, Odell Beckham, Zay Flowers, Nelson Agholor, Devin Duvernay

There are questions about the sixth wide receiver and whether that would be Laquon Treadwell or Tylan Wallace.

Tight End (3), 14 total - Mark Andrews, Isaiah Likely, Charlie Kolar

These top three are locked in, and there are not many options on the bubble here.

Offensive Line (9), 23 total - Ronnie Stanley, John Simpson, Tyler Linderbaum, Kevin Zeitler, Morgan Moses, Patrick Mekari, Sala Aumavae-Laulu, Ben Cleveland, Daniel Faalele

The only real question here is whether they keep a tenth offensive lineman and whether that is Sam Mustipher, the backup center.

Defensive Line (6), 29 total - Travis Jones, Justin Madubuike, Broderick Washington, Angelo Blackson, Michael Pierce, Brent Urban

There are no real bubble players; the only question is whether those six are locks or if they will only keep five. At this point, all six feel like locks.

Edge Rusher (4), 33 total - Odafe Oweh, David Ojabo, Tavius Robinson, Tyus Bowser

Tavius Robinson is trending down a bit, but he is still firmly on the roster for now. Malik Hamm, Kelle Sanders, and Jeremiah Moon can at least make cases for the roster.

Linebacker (5), 38 total - Roquan Smith, Patrick Queen, Malik Harrison, Del'Shawn Phillips, Trenton Simpson

The play of Del'Shawn Phillips over the past couple of weeks has moved him from the bubble to a firm lock. Roster bubble players Kristian Welch and Josh Ross are sliding down in response.

Cornerback (3), 41 total - Marlon Humphrey, Brandon Stephens, Rock Ya-Sin

This is easily the most up in the air position. Stephens just moved back to cornerback from the outside, and there are currently no slot cornerbacks as locks. Ar'Darius Washington, Arthur Maulet, Jalyn Armour-Davis, and Kyu Blu Kelly are all fringe bubble players.

Safety (4), 45 total -Kyle Hamilton, Marcus Williams, Geno Stone, Daryl Worley

Daryl Worley did everything he needed to do to prove that he was a lock. He not only played every snap, he was a star on special teams. With his cornerback versatility, it is hard to say that he is not a lock.

Special teams (3), 48 total - Nick Ott, Justin Tucker, Jordan Stout

48 roster locks. Who has the best chance to lock down those five spots?
