The Indianapolis Colts had a top-five pick in the 2022 draft, but you could argue the ineptitude of coaching as well as the quarterback was the problem far more than the actual roster. So, with a new quarterback, the Colts are 1-1 and feel like they are not some rebuilding team.

Who are some notable names that Baltimore Ravens fans must keep their eyes on when they take on the Colts?

3. DeForest Buckner is the best player on the Indianapolis Colts

This has been true for a while now, but DeForest Buckner is one of the best players in the NFL and is the leader of the Indianapolis Colts. They traded a first-round pick to obtain the former top-10 pick, and they do not regret the decision at all. With the Colts, he has put up 57 pressures, then 49 and 56. This year, he already has five and is on pace for another strong year. He also has five run stops.

To be fair, Buckner has not faced the toughest competition yet. In week one he squared off with Ben Bartch, and last week he spent most of his day against Kendrick Green. Still, Buckner is doing what he is supposed to in those matchups. Beyond that, Buckner will be facing off with John Simpson for the majority of his matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. Simpson played well in week one but struggled against D.J. Reader at times. Reader is more powerful than Buckner can win with size and finesse despite being so big. He wins with violent hands more than Reader and could expose Simpson.

This will be a major test for the Baltimore Ravens starter.
