The Baltimore Ravens are to get their No. 1 pass-catching weapon back in the lineup in Week 2, as tight end Mark Andrews is expected to return against the Cincinnati Bengals.

A quad injury kept Andrews out of the Ravens' Week 1 win over the Houston Texans, but he is on track to play in Week 2, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Ravens are currently set as underdogs against the Bengals, but Andrews’ return would be a major boost to Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore offense.

Mark Andrews injury status for Week 2 game against Cincinnati Bengals

After missing Week 1, Andrews practiced on Thursday for the Ravens, logging a limited session. He then practiced in full on Friday. The Ravens listed him as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

Best Mark Andrews prop bet if he suits up in Week 2 vs. Cincy

Mark Andrews anytime touchdown scorer

I don’t mind taking Andrews to find the end zone in Week 2, as he scored all of his touchdowns with Jackson under center last season.

The Ravens will likely use Andrews in the red zone even if he ends up on a snap count, and it’s worth noting that J.K. Dobbins’ injury could open up the passing game near the goal line a little more than before.

At +230, this is one of the best prices we’ll have for Andrews to hit paydirt all season.

Mark Andrews injury history

Andrews doesn’t have a lengthy injury history, as he missed one game last season with the shoulder ailment.

Back in the 2020 season Andrews had a thigh injury but did not miss a game, and he did miss the team’s Week 17 game in 2019 with an ankle issue.

Still, Andrews has played in at least 14 games in every season in his NFL career – so missing more than Week 1 this season would be out of the norm for the Ravens tight end.
