Kenyan Drake brought back "Miracle in Miami" in the hoodiest possible way

Gronk might have won many Super Bowls, but Drake owns Gronk now. So by extension, can we consider Drake a champion these days... as well as a member of your Baltimore Ravens? Whatever the answer is, we're glad Drake's back in MD!

If you're reading this story here at Ebony Bird, then you might not even remember what went down when the Miami Dolphins faced the New England Patriots all the way back in 2018.

One person who must remember that day is former-and-new Baltimore Ravens running back Kenyan Drake, who the franchise signed to their practice squad on Wednesday to bolster a depleted backfield.

Why would that be the case, you ask? Well, watch for yourself (h/t King Of Phinland) first, and let me continue later.

So, it was Week 14 in 2018. The Dolphins had all but lost the game with just seven seconds left. What did they do? A bunch of wild stuff, and win a professional football match. That's what.

Of course, the score came courtesy of a delicious run by Drake edging New England Patriots "defender" Rob Gronkowski on his way to the end zone.

More than the actual craziness surrounding everything that took place on the field, the most iconic moment about it all was broadcaster Ian Eagle's call of the play as he was audacious enough to point out Gronkowski "didn't have the angle!"

On Thursday, on his first day as a member of the Ravens organization after leaving it following last season's finale, Drake popped up clad in this hoodie (h/t Marlon Humphrey).

It was so clever, so smart, so nice, and so roastfully great that even the official NFL account on X (formerly known as Twitter) echoed Drake's unique sweatshirt.

"Gronkowski... didn't have the..." read the hoodie's chest, right above a sharp angle graph making the joke obvious yet graphically witty.

dark. Next. Ravens could rule out 10 starters for Week 3 vs. Colts. Ravens could rule out 10 starters for Week 3 vs. Colts
