The Baltimore Ravens won a hella tough game 37–31 in overtime against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14, improved their record to an AFC-leading 10–3, and saw QB Lamar Jackson put on one of his strongest performances of the season to date. There is no question about who should be leading the MVP race anymore.

In Week 14, Lamar Jackson contributed a total of 386 yards on offense while tossing three touchdown passes against the Rams connecting with three different pass catchers on those plays: Zay Flowers, Odell Beckham, and Isaiah Likely.

In his most impressive drive, facing a 28–23 deficit with just under five minutes to play, Jackson led the Ravens on a notable 13-play, 75-yard touchdown journey toward a score that put the Ravens up on the scoreboard before completing a two-point pass to Flowers making it an eight-point drive.

Jackson finished Sunday completing 24-of-43 passes for 316 yards, and more promisingly found his receivers deep down the field in what had been his main problem all season long.

Despite only completing 56% of his pass attempts, Lamar was aiming for the moon yesterday and that's why the rate dropped but also why his touchdowns came on 46, 54, and 21-yard downfield bombs.

Jackson also led all Ravens with 10 carries for 70 rushing yards, and his total production could have been even gaudier had his receivers (mainly Rashod Bateman, who seemed to give up on a deep route failing to reach the ball at the point-of-reception) not failed him at some points.

Jackson was already close to leading the race for the Most Valuable Player award, but after putting on another extraordinary show this past weekend he surely is at the top of the leaderboard entering Week 15. He already bagged (a unanimous) one in 2019, but it's never too late to win a second one.
