3rd Quarter: Kyle Hamilton submits application for Best All-Time Defender
Colts blow up a 3rd-and-1 as Gus Edwards loses 2 yards. Not sure why Ravens didn't just go QB sneak.
— Jeff Zrebiec (@jeffzrebiec) September 24, 2023
And Ravens follow it up by allowing long punt return. Ravens special teams continues to struggle.
Did the Ravens’ special teams unit just stop playing for a second once the Colts’ returner caught that punt?

Seemed like they just froze
Jadeveon Clowney put a heavy hit on Minshew who was doubled over momentarily before leaving the field. That one looked painful.
— Kyle Phoenix Barber (@KylePBarber) September 24, 2023
Jadeveon Clowney put a hurting on Gardner Minshew with that one. He did not get up 100%.
— Jonas Shaffer (@jonas_shaffer) September 24, 2023
Clowney drills Minshew on that third-down incompletion. Minshew getting attention from training staff on sideline as Matt Gay drills a 54-yard FG.

Colts: 13
Ravens: 7
Good job by Jadeveon Clowney with a quarterback hit on 3rd down. Kyle Hamilton continues to shine on delayed blitzes. Matt Gay connects a 54-yard field goal and the Colts leads by six, 13-7. Time for the offense to bounce back.

Ravens injury update: WR Tylan Wallace (hamstring) is doubtful to return
— Jamison Hensley (@jamisonhensley) September 24, 2023
Ravens offense again goes 3 and out. Colts sent the blitz and the defender clamped up Andrews in 1-on-1 for the pass defensed.
— Kyle Phoenix Barber (@KylePBarber) September 24, 2023
Travis Jones is back in for this defensive drive. David Ojabo is on sideline with helmet on, but I haven't seen him return since coming back for a few plays in first quarter.
— Jeff Zrebiec (@jeffzrebiec) September 24, 2023
The Ravens haven't crossed midfield since Drake's fumble, which was 7 possessions ago
— Noah Trister (@noahtrister) September 24, 2023
The Ravens offense had 133 offensive yards before the Kenyan Drake fumble.
— Ryan Mink (@ryanmink) September 24, 2023
They've mustered just 42 yards on the following six drives since.
Ravens defense stops the Colts offense they gain a single first down.

20:41 remaining in the game. There's more than enough time to make something happen.
Ravens S Kyle Hamilton:
— Sarah Ellison (@sgellison) September 24, 2023
* 9 tackles
* 3 sacks
* 2 TFLs
* 1 PD
* 1 forced fumble
And we're not even into the fourth quarter yet
For the first time in forever, the Ravens are across midfield.
— Jonas Shaffer (@jonas_shaffer) September 24, 2023
Melvin Gordon comes in and moves the chains on a tough run. Took a hard hit but held onto the ball. Multiple defenders were punching at the pigskin, too.
— Kyle Phoenix Barber (@KylePBarber) September 24, 2023
Look at this big hug that Kyle Hamilton is giving Gardner Minshew

Jackson with his second rushing touchdown of the day.
— Kyle Phoenix Barber (@KylePBarber) September 24, 2023
Another drive where the first play is a Jackson rush for a first down and ends with a Jackson tuddy.
Empty backfield on 3rd-and-1, Lamar Jackson keeps it himself and scores on an 11-yard TD run. Ravens got their run game going on that 10-play, 81-yard drive.
— Jeff Zrebiec (@jeffzrebiec) September 24, 2023
They lead the Colts, 14-13, with 13 seconds left in 3rd quarter.
Lamar Jackson leads all players in passing yards (133), rushing yards (65), touchdowns (2) and balls punted in celebration (1).

:13 remaining in the 3rd quarter
— Kyle Phoenix Barber (@KylePBarber) September 24, 2023
Ravens: 14
Colts: 13
Ravens drive went 10 plays, 81 yards.
Offense was bolstered by good runs from Jackson, Gus Edwards, Melvin Gordon and a couple nice receptions from Flowers + Agholor.
This Ravens offense is capable of those 80-yard drives almost every time they touch the ball. They just have to avoid self-sabotage.
— Sarah Ellison (@sgellison) September 24, 2023
We're up 14-13 with 15 minutes to play. pic.twitter.com/0lt5feY2KV
