5. Why has Isaiah Likely been such a let down for the Baltimore Ravens?

Isaiah Likely has been a huge letdown this season. His yards per route run are down from 1.32 to 0.63, and his snaps are down from 40% to 29%. This is pretty bad. Some of this can be expected. The Ravens changed their offense, and they feature wide receivers more and tight ends less. Todd Monken also leans on Patrick Ricard as a blocking tight end over Likely, who is not as good at blocking as Ricard and is not as good at catching as Rashod Bateman, Odell Beckham, and Nelson Agholor. So, it is hard to find his role.

Still, he himself has been worse as well. He is not making the most of his catches or his snaps, and he has not improved as a blocker, making it hard for the coaches to give him any leeway. So, does Likely even deserve to get any more snaps right now? It will be interesting to see how this plays out because this year has been a huge letdown.
