3. Has Gus Edwards staved off the Baltimore Ravens RB trade rumors?

Sunday was the best we saw of Gus Edwards. A lot of it comes down to John Simpson and Kevin Zeitler having bounce-back games that helped the Ravens' rushing attack. Still, Edwards was pushing piles, getting extra yards, and picking up big gains as well. He even had a couple of catches. So, the question is whether he did enough to avoid a trade for a running back. A power back, yes. A speed back, no.

The Ravens need that dose of speed this year. They lost it with J.K. Dobbins and still use Justice Hill over Edwards to get it. When the Ravens have the lead, they go to the hammer. However, when they need a big play and are trailing, they still need someone like Hill or Dobbins to step up. With Keaton Mitchell getting banged up on his first touch, the team may add someone like Elijah Mitchell or a big splash like Austin Ekeler.
