6. Should the Baltimore Ravens lean away from 11-personnel?

One of the big changes that we knew was coming from Todd Monken was more 11-personnel. The offensive coordinator was going to do it, but the addition of Zay Flowers Odell Beckham, and Nelson Agholor to Rashod Bateman solidified it.

The Ravens are up from 12% of their snaps being in 11-personnel last year to 50.7%. However, they are not having success here. They rank 28th in EPA per play from this grouping. Last year, they ranked 25th in EPA per play out of 11 personnel.

Some of this can be explained by the drops out of this formation, costing the team so many points. However, the Ravens also look better when Patrick Ricard and Isaiah Likely are on the field, and they are not relying on heavy contributions from Agholor, Bateman, and Beckham.

The play calling of Monken with the personnel formations of Greg Roman could be the perfect combination. Will Monken roll with this, or will he continue to look at going three wide receivers, even though his receivers are not making enough plays right now?
