10 major questions emerging from the Baltimore Ravens win over the Tennessee Titans
3. Can the Baltimore Ravens find a trusted running back?
The Baltimore Ravens have struggled to close games out, and in recent weeks they have struggled in the red zone in part becasue of their lack of a trusted running game. Lamar Jackson is a big time rusher, and he has carried this group. Against the Bengals he essentially ran out the clock with the four minute offense on their own.
However, when Ravens have had to lean on their running backs, it has not happened. Gus Edwards has been okay in the power role, but in key power situations, the team has either elected to throw, tried a quarterback sneak with Mark Andrews, or they failed to get the needed yards behind Edwards.
As a speed back, the Ravens lost J.K. Dobbins and have found no solutions. Justice Hill has been in and out of the lineup, Kenyan Drake had a key fumble that cost the team, and now the team is hoping that Keaton Mitchell can get mixed into the lineup this week.
