It can be said that the Baltimore Ravens kicked off their pre-season on Tuesday, July 25, as the franchise welcomed their veteran players to their facilities in Owings Mills, Maryland.

The official start of the training camp is scheduled for Wednesday, during which the entire organization, comprising both rookies and returning players, will participate in the initial practice sessions of the summer.

A notable highlight on Tuesday was the presence of several Ravens players, including TE Mark Andrews, ILB Roquan Smith, and OT Morgan Moses, who took the stage before the microphones and engaged with the media.

As quoted by Ryan Mink of BaltimoreRavens.com, Andrews sounded excited about the new offensive scheme about to be installed by new OC Todd Monken for the 2023 season.

“It’s going to look different,” Andrews said. “I’m excited for all the Baltimore fans to see the difference of what this offense could be. There’s going to be little nuances here and there, we’re going to be able to throw the ball and do good things.”

Andrews remarked that "It's important to spread the ball out," before acknowledging that he knows the Ravens have brought together this offseason "are able to get open, make big-time catches and do all those different things."

When it comes to him, Andrews said that he is "a team guy," and that "I just want to win games--that's all that matters to me."

If you want to get excited about the 2023 season, though, Andrews is clearly here to feed you some hype.

"I think we’ve gotten close, and that’s part of it. I think that has to be something that drives you, drives each and every one of us that’s played and been here during those years," the tight end started before claiming "We’ve got unfinished business, and it’s time to roll."
