4. Joe Burrow has struggled against the Baltimore Ravens under Mike MacDonald

One of the reasons Wink Martindale was fired was because he called out Joe Burrow and the Bengals and paid for it. Since then, the Ravens have not messed around with Burrow, and they have had much more success.

Mike MacDonald was hired to limit the big plays from Burrow, and he has done just that. Burrow has played MacDonald four times, including the playoff game. He is completing 66% of his passes when his career rate is 68%.

More than that, he is down from his average of 274 yards to 216 yards per game. He is down from 7.4 yards per attempt to 5.8. His touchdown rate is down from 5.1% to 3.3%. His interception rate is down from 2% to 1.3% against MacDonald, but Geno Stone also had a game-changing interception against Burrow earlier this year.

Burrow is 2-2 against the Ravens with Mike MacDonald as the Ravens defensive coordinator, but the two losses came with Tyler Huntley and Anthony Brown starting. The two wins came with Lamar Jackson. The defense has not been the issue against Joe Burrow in recent meetings, and that has to remain the same.
