Despite a rough start to the season, the Baltimore Ravens now look like the team we were supposed to see. The Ravens fell to 0-2 to start the year, losing both games by a tight margin but climbed out of that hole to sit at 2-2. Kay Adams, host of Up & Adams, loves what she's seen from Baltimore recently and crowned them the best team in football.
Adams notes that what the Ravens are doing in the run game (Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson) paired with their offensive line gelling makes them difficult to stop. She even asked "Who's gonna stop them?"
Adams continued, "You can't tell me this is not the best team in the NFL right now." She said that while she doesn't do power rankings, she's struggling to find a team to put above them.
Kay Adams: "Ravens are the best team in football."
Adams makes it a point to say that even though the Ravens' record is 2-2, she still believes this team is the team to beat right now. Ravens fans are going to love hearing this, especially after that rough 0-2 start.
Even though the Ravens fell to 0-2, they lost both games by a close score and could easily be 4-0 right now if those games went their way. They play in what was previously thought to be the toughest division in football and now have a major chance to prove Kay Adams right when they head to Cincinnati to play the Bengals this weekend.

If the Ravens can win that game, not only do they move to 3-2 and will officially be over .500 for the first time this season but they'll drop Cincinnati to 1-4 and pretty much end any playoff hopes that team had remaining. That feels like the best of both worlds, doesn't it, Ravens fans?
Getting back to what Adams was talking about though, she has a point. The Ravens hosted a previously undefeated Buffalo Bills team this past week and absolutely smacked them in the mouth, winning in blowout fashion. The run game was on point, Lamar Jackson was playing at his MVP level, and the defense didn't crumble down the stretch as they had in the earlier games.
With the Chiefs looking wounded (despite being 4-0) and the AFC looking like it could be up for grabs, why can't the Ravens be the team to beat? We'll learn even more about them when they head to Cincinnati for a game against the hated Bengals this weekend.
