The Baltimore Ravens are loaded on both offense and defense entering the 2023 season. While the offensive side of the ball is getting the most attention through the first days of the summer and the earliest part of the offseason, the truth is that this defense has some dough in it.

NFL Network has been putting out their Top 100 list of players ahead of next year and the Ravens already got three of them named into it in QB Lamar Jackson, TE Mark Andrews, and CB Marlon Humphrey.

On Thursday, a fourth (and most probably final) member of the Ravens ball club was named into the Top 100 NFL Players entering the 2023 season.

The NFL named veteran inside linebacker Roquan Smith the 24th-best player in the league right now just one spot ahead of the final member of the Top 25 players in the NFL, running back Derrick Henry of the Tennessee Titans.

Smith arrived in Baltimore midway through the 2022 season via trade with the Chicago Bears and he completely transformed the defense of the Ravens, boosting their numbers and improving their talent overall.
