When Peter King talks, the football world listens. And when Peter King says someone's good, the football world believes him.

Working as an on-camp pundit for NBC these days, the world-renowned journo is on a nationwide trip across the United States this summer reporting from all 30 training camps.

Earlier this week, King arrived at The Castle in Owings Mills and NBC uploaded a video to their official YouTube channel in which King discussed a few things.

Among those things, it's worth pointing out one and only one: "The most impressive rookie I have seen in six camps is Zay Flowers." King's words, not mine!

That statement, while only partially true, is gospel for now and it is also coming from the respected King. What I meant by "partially true" and "for now," is that actually, King had only visited five other camps before landing in Maryland is the very own man confessed.

"“The most impressive rookie I have seen in six camps is Zay Flowers. He lines up across from a corner and unless they literally interfere with him or hold him, he has tremendous separation on almost every cut. His quickness, his speed out of cuts is going to be a thing to watch in the NFL this year.”"

The Ravens made WR Zay Flowers their first-round selection using the 22nd-overall pick in the Boston College product. Flowers, though, was only the fourth wideout off the board. There is still a chance some other rookie wide receiver ends up snatching that Peter King "MIR" award when all is said and done later this summer.

That said, King's explanation of what makes Flowers the current recipent of this particular award was rather sound.

"[Flowers] lines up across from a corner and unless they literally interfere with him or hold him, he has tremendous separation on almost every cut," King started. "His quickness, his speed out of cuts... it's going to be a thing to watch in the NFL this year."

Flowers is joining a receiving corps comprised five first-round wide receivers in Odell Beckham Jr., Nelson Agholor, Rashod Bateman, and Laquon Treadwell.

Who'll end up with the better career it's still unknown. Focusing exclusively on the present, it's hard to argue against Flowers being the best active player among those on that list.
