Predicting every national TV game for Ravens this season
By Mike Luciano
The Baltimore Ravens need to prepare for yet another set of primetime games in the 2024 NFL season. With a loaded roster and the reigning MVP in Lamar Jackson, it makes sense as to why the NFL wants to promote Baltimore as much as any non-Chiefs team in the AFC.
The Ravens have been historically successful in primetime games during the John Harbaugh era, as their 39-17 record since the beginning of the 2008 season puts them in a tier far above the rest of the league.
Not only is Baltimore one of the best teams in the league, but the combination of Jackson's insane playmaking and Derrick Henry toting the rock in the backfield will make them one of the more exciting teams in the league to watch. The league is watching them with great interest.
The Ravens will be on TV quite frequently in 2024. Even though the exact schedule isn't known, Baltimore fans can take solace in the fact their 2024 campaign will be one of the league's must-see attractions.
Predicting every national TV game for the Baltimore Ravens in the 2024 season
Eagles at Ravens: Thursday Night Football
The Ravens will welcome Jalen Hurts to town this season, and there's a very good chance these two teams will face off once again in the Super Bowl. This preview could be one way to keep Baltimore in the primetime rotation, even if it will fall in the much-maligned midweek tussle.
Ravens at Texans: Sunday Night Football
The Ravens will face off against the team they crushed in the postseason last year, albeit from CJ Stroud's home fortress in Texas. Houston has since become one of the best young teams in the league, and Stroud's turn in the spotlight will assuredly include another date against one of the best in the game.
Ravens at Chiefs: Sunday Night Football
In much the same way Peyton Manning and Tom Brady used to bang their heads together every year, Jackson and Patrick Mahomes will square off once more for what seems like an annual confrontation. Sunday Night is the perfect catalyst for this renewal.
Ravens at Cowboys: Monday Night Football
The Cowboys are always going to be at the forefront of the NFL conversation, and their meaty primetime schedule could include a duel against Jackson and the Ravens. Jackson helped the Ravens beat an Andy Dalton-led Dallas team in 2020, but he could improve upon the 107 passing yards he had in that game.
