It took a while, but a little scuffle took place in Day 7 of Ravens training camp

According to Kyle Phoenix Barber of Baltimore Beatdown, the "fight" happened "during 11-on-11 drills," and as far as he can tell it "appeared offensive lineman John Simpson and linebacker Patrick Queen got into a shoving match."

The beat reporter, attending the practice on Wednesday live on location at the Under Armour Performance Center, confirmed that both players "had to be separated."

However, according to Barber "nothing egregious occurred and neither were kicked out." Following the little scuffle, again per Barber, coach Harbaugh "approached the defensive sideline" to let the boys know that "scuffling is a waste of practice time."

Gotta love Coach John bringing peace to the lads out there on the field, even more considering Queen's ongoing situation and his feelings about the Ravens not extending him for another season after declining the fifth-year option in his rookie contract.

Queen said a few days ago that he was "pissed" at Baltimore, although he acknowledged his focus is just on "improving his game" through 2023 on his way to earning a new, hefty deal next offseason.
