3. Can the Baltimore Ravens defend runs to the outside?

One big issue with the Baltimore Ravens edge rusher group has been their run defense. They lost Tyus Bowser, who brings it in the run game. Now, they are losing Odafe Oweh and David Ojabo. Ojabo has not shown much in the run game, but Oweh is a big drop.

You saw it against the Indianapolis Colts when Zack Moss was able to run the ball 13 times for 79 yards outside the tackles. Meanwhile, he had just 17 carries for 43 yards along the inside. Moss is not an outside, explosive runner; the issue was that the Ravens could not hold down the edge.

Tavius Robinson is a rookie who struggled, and Jeremiah Moon is aUDFA in his second season after spending a year on the practice squad. Neither of them is ready for this moment, so the team signed Kyle Van Noy.

Will Van Noy make a difference? The Browns run game is not the same without Nick Chubb, but Jerome Ford has broken a few runs outside the tackles already this season. If the Ravens are not ready, they will be next.
