9. What is going on with the Baltimore Ravens and Broderick Washington?

One of the big surprises of the night was seeing Broderick Washington inactive before the game. Washington had not been playing nearly as well or as much as he had been playing in 2022. However, the Ravens extended Washington this season, so they have a bit of a commitment to him. 

One of the reasons Washington was inactive was due to the squeeze at cornerback. The Ravens were without Marlon Humphrey and wound up playing Ronald Darby, Rock Ya-Sin, and Jalyn Armour-Davis this week to replace him.

Armour-Davis is typically inactive but played the fourth quarter on Thursday. Still, the Ravens also had Brent Urban active over Broderick Washington. 

You can argue this is the right move, but the Ravens just gave Washington a solid extension, and Urban is a journeyman making low-end money. The Ravens need to get more out of Washington. 

Will they continue to dress the extra cornerback with Humphrey out, and will Washington continue to sit behind Brent Urban?
