3. Kyle Hamilton 

Kyle Hamilton is another player who is a lock for the Pro Bowl. He technically plays the slot and not strong safety, but he does play enough strong safety to warrant the voting here. At strong safety, he is clearly the best in the AFC.

The next player is Derwin James, who is fourth overall in voting. He is having a down year by his standards, and most fans can see that. Justin Reid of the Chiefs is sixth, and Grant Delpit is seventh. Delpit is injured. Hamilton is seventh in tackles over, but the sacks and defended passes will go a long way. He also gets credit for the breakout year the Ravens defense has had. He is going to start in the Pro Bowl this year in his second NFL season.
