The Ravens (2-1) face a hella tough matchup in Week 4 as they'll pay a visit to Cleveland to face AFC North foes the Browns (2-1).
Judging by Wednesday's "unofficial" injury updates, courtesy of Odafeh Oweh's personal Instagram account, the spirits can't be higher around the Flock, and the biggest news in quite some time might be about to pop up.
If you remember, Baltimore hesitated to place cornerback Marlon Humphrey on injured reserve following his foot surgery during training camp, hoping for a return no later than Week 4. They initially thought he'd only be out for a few games, but not that many.
Despite missing the first three games, Coach John Harbaugh suggested after a Week 1 victory that Humphrey might return soon.
It appears that "soon" could mean this Sunday against Cleveland, judging by Humphrey's great (and certainly hilarious) reaction he had to Oweh's question about his comeback.
In a video shared on Odafe Oweh's Instagram story (h/t Ravens Realm), Humphrey showcased his excitement with a humorous dance in the training room, shouting, "I'm back, baby."
Humphrey received a recovery estimate of four to six weeks after his foot surgery on August 16. He is right on track for a Week 5 comeback against Pittsburgh, giving him a week to ramp up his conditioning.
The Baltimore Ravens are set to face the Cleveland Browns, who currently boast the NFL's top-ranked defense, on Sunday, on the road to make things worse.
In their recent matchup against the Tennessee Titans, the Browns secured a commanding 27-3 victory. They demonstrated world-beating defensive prowess by preventing the Titans from scoring a single touchdown throughout the game.
Additionally, Myles Garrett racked up a ridiculous 3.5 sacks on Ryan Tannehill while also generating eight pressures throughout the four quarters of last Sunday's outing to help Cleveland go 2-1 in the regular season.
We'll wait and hope for an earlier return this weekend ahead of the crucial divisional game against the Browns.
