The Baltimore Ravens' season didn't end how they hoped it would. Despite holding the best record in the NFL and Lamar Jackson winning MVP, the Ravens fell short in the AFC Championship, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs by a final score of 17-10.

The good news is the Ravens should be back in the conversation as the best team in the NFL again in 2024 and should be well poised to give themselves a shot at another deep playoff run.

Before they think about the Super Bowl, they need to handle competing in their division, which is one of the best in football. With Joe Burrow back to being healthy, the Cincinnati Bengals should return to form. Not to mention the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers, both teams who maded the postseason last year.

Let's dive into the odds to win the AFC North in 2024 and then I'll break down the Ravens' chances.

Ravens favored to repeat as AFC North champions

The Baltimore Ravens are set as +100 favorites to repeat as division winners, which is an implied probability of 50%. If you were to bet $100 on them to win the AFC North, you'd profit $100 if they're able to achieve the feat, doubling your money.

Despite both making the playoffs, the Browns and Steelers are the two longest shots to win the division at +550 and +1200, respectively. It's the Bengals who oddsmakers expect to give the Ravens a challenge, coming in at +175 to win the division.

The Bengals won the AFC North the two years prior in 2021 and 2022 and their 2023 season was effectively ended when Burrow went down with an injury. If Burrow can remain healthy for the 2024 campaign, they could prove to be troublesome for the Ravens.

At the end of the day, I'd still much rather bet on the Ravens at +100 than the Bengals at +175. Even if the Bengals' QB is healthy, he can't play on both sides of the ball and the Baltimore defense is far superior to Cincinnati's. Now team allowed fewer points per game in 2024 than the Ravens at just 16.2. The Bengals allowed almost six more points per contest at 22.6, which ranked 20th in the NFL.

With the reigning MVP of the league and arguably the best defense in the NFL, I wouldn't hesitate to bet on the Ravens to repeat as division winners.
