Possible ripple effects from Ravens signing Odell Beckham Jr.: Baltimore signs Leonard Floyd

Baltimore has to add at least one more edge rusher this offseason, whether it be via the draft or any remaining free agents. One of the team's top options in free agency is a former teammate of Beckham's on that Rams Super Bowl team, veteran Leonard Floyd.

Floyd stil has yet to sign with a team, and although the Ravens don't have a ton of cap room to work with, they can figure out a way to bring Floyd in by reworking some deals and putting money off into the future.

At 30 years old, Floyd still has a good amount of football left in him. He was also a late bloomer, not having his best years until his four years with the Chicago Bears were up. Over three seasons with the Rams, Floyd was extremely consistent, putting up 10.5, 9.5 and 9.0 sacks in those years, respectively.

Should the Ravens add Floyd, their draft needs would change even more, like they did when they inked Beckham. Getting two former Super Bowl-winning teammates within days of each other would likely be more than enough to convince Lamar to stick around. From there, it's officially 'go time.' The Ravens are in deep, making moves, en route to competing for the Lombardi.
