Ravens projected to draft an offensive lineman in first round of 2024 NFL Draft

The Baltimore Ravens had the best record in the AFC last season and the MVP in Lamar Jackson, but it didn’t yield the postseason success the team had envisioned, getting swallowed up by the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. 

Oddsmakers believe that the Ravens, in hopes of bolstering its offense to compete with the likes of the Chiefs, will target offensive line in the 2024 NFL Draft in two weeks. Baltimore was an elite offense around Jackson, and the defense was the best in football, but oddsmakers have circled OL as the primary target for the Ravens, who are currently set to pick at No. 30. 

The Ravens made some splashy signings in the offseason, bringing in running back Derrick Henry, and also brought back several key players on the defense including defensive tackle Justin Madubuike and linebacker Kyle Van Noy. 

With a run-first mindset, the team can use more help in the trenches as a host of mock drafts are tying the Ravens to offensive line help. However, the team could look to give Jackson another weapon in the passing game by targeting a wide receiver.
