In Week 7, the Ravens (5-2) asserted their dominance over the Detroit Lions (5-2) with a solid 38–6 victory in the game that marked the return to the Flock to the comfortable confines of Baltimore and M&T Bank Stadium in nearly a month.

Lamar Jackson set the tone with a rushing touchdown in the opening drive, extending the lead to 14–0 on the second possession with another impressive drive culminating in a connection with wide receiver Nelson Agholor in the end zone. The Ravens continued their offensive showcase as Jackson linked up with tight end Mark Andrews to make it 21–0 before Gus Edwards added to the lead with a touchdown run. Jackson would later find Mark Andrews for his second touchdown of the game, and Justin Tucker would add a field goal to puth the cherry on top.

Rookie running back Jahmyr Gibbs denied the shutout by scoring the Lions' first and only touchdown, but that was it for this supposed "supreme" offense...
