Start: QB Lamar Jackson (BAL)

If there is a game in which Lamar should excel, then this one might be it if only because of the perfect context surrounding it.

First and foremost, tropical storm Ophelia won't be impacting this game as much as we initially expected but the conditions won't be those a sunny day in the middle of August. Expect rain and some suboptimal conditions.

Lamar was average-to-good in Week 1 and then showed some impressive flashes in Week 2 against Cincy. So far, so good for the Ravens quarterback, and it's only been two games for him playing under the guidance of new Offensive Coordinator Todd Monken.

Jackson is projected to score the fifth-most fantasy points among players at the position this weekend and that might be selling him short. In fact, Yahoo has the sixth-year vet passing for 233 yards and 1.4 TDs while rushing for 51 yards. I think those two figures are nice for a floor, but the upside here is massive.

Lamar will rush the rock more often than not under wet conditions and because of the precarious situation of the Ravens backfield (they are carrying RB1 Gus Edwards along with two practice squad players).

The passing game might not be explosive today with the water and the wind but that means TE Mark Andrews and WR Zay Flowers will get a ton of short-distance passes and rack up yards after the catch to boost Jackson's numbers.

The last time Lamar played against Indianapolis he put up 442 passing yards on 37 completions throwing four touchdowns. He added 62 yards on the ground. Seriously, don't lose a minute deciding whether or not to start this man.
