The Baltimore Ravens (9-3) are returning home and to the playing grounds of the NFL this weekend as they return from a well-earned bye week to host the Los Angeles Rams (6-6) in a matchup to try and stay atop the AFC standings with another victory.

The Rams, even though currently boasting a mediocre even record, have been much better of late going for a perfect 3-0 sweep in their last three games played leading up to Sunday's game against the Ravens.

The Ravens are leading the AFC North comfortably with the Cleveland Browns as their closes chasers, but a win on Sunday will see the distance between both ball clubs stay at two games with only four left to be played.

Ravens vs. Chargers Week 12: All you need to know

When and where

In a funny development, the Ravens flew to the West Coast for the pre-bye week game to face the Chargers in Los Angeles and after their bye week they will be back in Baltimore to face the other Angeleno club in the visiting Rams.

Ravens and Rams will go against each other at the M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET (10:00 a.m. PT for those on the West Coast; 7:00 p.m. CET for those in Europe), the second time in as many games that the Ravens will be facing a team from the Los Angeles metropolitan area.

The Rams are playing their second game on the road in the last months, all four of those matchups taking place after their Week 10 bye. They defeated the Arizona Cardinals 37-14 the last time they played away from California.

Weather

The forecast for Sunday at kick-off time in Baltimore, according to AccuWeather, predicts 63 degrees with a couple of morning showers followed by rain and a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Expect storms between kick-off and night with heavy rain, which means we're in for a rough one, folks. There is a 97% chance of precipitation with a 30% chance of thunderstorms and a SSE 9 mph wind with gusts at 20 mph.

Injuries

The Ravens are entering Week 14 with one of their cleanest bills of health of the season, only featuring three players with a designation for Sunday's game but just one of them (linebacker Malik Harrison) logging a limited practice while getting tagged as "questionable" to play against the Rams.

Lamar Jackson returned from illness to practice in full on Friday, and while Odell Beckham Jr. missed the last session prior to the weekend that was only because he took a veteran's day off, per head coach John Harbaugh.

CB Marlon Humphrey (missed the last two games with a calf injury) and DT Justin Madubuike (concussed in the Week 12 game against the Los Angeles Chargers) are expected to play on Sunday returning to the field for the Flock.

The Los Angeles Rams listed three players as questionable to play against the Ravens and one more, tight end Tyler Higbee, as "doubtful" putting his participation on Sunday's contest in peril.

Other than that, it's worth noting that wideout Puka Nacua logged his second full practice on Friday and is not carrying any designation into the weekend.
