The preseason will be a great way for some jobs to be won and lost. Not only are starting jobs on the line, but also roster spots in general. The Ravens have a few players right on the edge of the roster, and a push in the preseason could go a long way. Which players have a lot to gain this weekend?

3. Could Jeremiah Moon make the Baltimore Ravens roster?

Jeremiah Moon is the definition of a sleeper to make the Baltimore Ravens roster. You hardly hear anything about him, yet he was listed on the two-deep roster as a backup. Not every backup makes it, but it does show that Moon is much closer to the roster than some fans think.

Moon is a second-year UDFA who stuck with the Ravens as a rookie and now is taking that jump in year two. What helps him so much is his role. The Ravens use their edge rushers differently because Tyus Bowser can play so uniquely.

So, they have rushers like Odafe Oweh, David Ojabo, and Tavius Robinson, and then a SAM in Tyus Bowser. While some of the rushers can play on their feet, none of them are legitimate backups to Bowser. Considering Bowser has been injured, the team has had to work Jeremiah Moon into these situations.

If the role is that valuable, and Moon is proving himself, and Bowser still has questions to the point where they need depth, it is a pretty easy call to say that Moon can make the Baltimore Ravens roster. The only real issue is that most people assume the team will be
