2. Ravens will draft multiple defensive linemen

Having a strong defensive line with quality depth is one of the keys to being successful in the NFL. Baltimore knows that. That’s why Eric Decosta has drafted at least one defensive lineman or edge rusher every year that he’s been general manager. The 2023 NFL Draft should be no different. Baltimore may even draft multiple defensive linemen.

Currently, the Ravens have built some depth at their edge-rushing outside linebacker positions. Baltimore has Odafe Oweh, Tyus Bowser, David Ojabo, Jeremiah Moon, and Daelin Hayes. The defensive line group, however, is lacking that depth across the defensive end positions.

Baltimore has Michael Pierce, Travis Jones, and Rayshad Nichols at nose tackle, but between both defensive end positions, the Ravens only have Justin Madubuike, Broderick Washington, and Brent Urban. The team surely will want to add more depth to this group.

Luckily, this is a draft that’s supposed to be pretty good for finding defensive linemen. After Baltimore acquires more picks, expect the team to use some of those picks on finding defensive linemen.
