When the Baltimore Ravens initially franchise-tagged Lamar Jackson, teams went to the media to explain that they did not have an interest in adding him. However, as the days go there have been leaks that teams have still been sniffing around.

While the Falcons and Commanders, and teams like them who were the usual suspects are out, there have been some new teams that have stepped into the conversation. Who are three teams that may end up trading for Lamar Jackson?

3. Tennessee Titans are a sneaky Lamar Jackson landing point

Through all things, the Tennessee Titans have been a sneaky spot to land Lamar Jackson. They have Ryan Tannehill, but he is not the long-term answer. They could potentially move $27M in cap space by trading him. That could obviously play into them lessening the cost to add Jackson via trade, and also save them the cap space to trade for Jackson.

The Titans just fired their GM in the middle of last season. They hired Ran Carthon, a former running back from the 49ers. Everything about that says that he wants to stick to the run heavy philosophy. While Derrick Henry has a year or two left, the Ravens Titans could go all-in on their run game by trading for Jackson and pairing him up with Derrick Henry.

The Titans have the 11th overall pick, but if they wait until after the NFL Draft to make a deal they could assume the pick they send next year is lower in the order. Beyond that, waiting to trade Tannehil benefits their cap. Teams immediately coming out and saying no thank you means something, but things may change after the free agency and draft situations settle. Is this when the Titans make their big play?
