3. The Baltimore Ravens need to trade for someone like Joe Noteboom

The Baltimore Ravens have an underrated need for some depth on the offensive line. They have seen Daniel Faalele too much this season, and it is clear that he is not ready to take that step yet. So, could they add some quality depth at the trade deadline? That is hard to do, but Joe Noteboom might be that guy. The Rams paid Noteboom to start at left tackle for them, but an injury last season opened the door for Alaric Jackson, who continues to play there for The Rams.

Noteboom played right guard for the first three weeks of the 2023 season, then moved to left tackle before missing three weeks. Then, last week he had to start at right tackle for the injured Rob Haventstein. Overall, Noteboom has 1,187 snaps at left tackle, 494 snaps at left guard, 180 at right guard, and 120 at right tackle. He even was a sixth offensive lineman for 29 snaps. The Ravens would love this type of depth and the ability to slot him in anywhere, especially because that role used to be Patrick Mekari, but now he is the direct backup to the injury-prone Ronnie Stanley.

The issue with Noteboom is that he has a $20M cap hit next year. Still, that is why the Rams would like to move him, and they may be able to work on a deal that changes the compensation based on how the money gets split. The Rams season is starting to fall apart, and the Ravens should try to get a depth lineman from them today.
