2. Could the Baltimore Ravens trade for Ezra Cleveland?

The Minnesota Vikings are in a tough spot. They just lost their star quarterback Kirk Cousins for the season, and they would have been long shots to make a run anyway. Do they keep pushing or start to sell? One name to watch will be Ezra Cleveland. Cleveland is a former second-round pick, and he started at left guard for the Minnesota Vikings for four seasons now. He is playing well this year, but he is a free agent at the end of the season.

So, the Vikings have to decide whether or not they think they can sign him. If they think he will hit the market it may be smart to get an asset back for him now. Cleveland has missed the last two games, but his injury does not appear to be serious. The Vikings have Dalton Risner and may have realized that they can get through the year without Cleveland.

Still, the fact that the Ravens will be renting Cleveland, he is injured, and the Vikings are desperate for any return could make this a cheap trade for a proven starter down the stretch run. If you had to point at any position that is the weakest on the roster, it has to be John Simpson at left guard. The team has to try to find a way to upgrade, and Ezra Cleveland would be everything.
