Which jerseys are the Ravens wearing today in Week 3 vs. Cowboys?
By Matt Sidney
The Baltimore Ravens, despite being winless at 0-2, might be the most impressive team without a victory in the NFL. They face a must-win situation as they head to AT&T Stadium in Dallas to take on the Dallas Cowboys.
In Week 3, the Ravens are back on the road after a season of mixed results away from home. They’ll be up against a Dallas team that’s been unpredictable, with an impressive win over the Cleveland Browns but a disappointing loss to the New Orleans Saints.
With the Cowboys being a wildcard, head coach John Harbaugh needs a strong performance to avoid any talk of being on the hot seat.
In a bold move to match the intensity of the game, the Ravens will be taking the field in some flashy attire. This vibrant combination will be on full display as they look to turn their season around and claim their first victory of the year.
The Ravens will wear their purple jersey with purple pants Week 3 in Dallas
The threads just got a bit bolder. Baltimore is making a statement this afternoon in Dallas rocking some purple-on-purple action. It's a look that's sure to pop in the bright lights of AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
The Ravens could have kept things simple and gone with some variation of purple jersey with white or black pants, however choosing to go with the all-purple screams, "We want to win every facet of the game from the field to the locker room." The Cowboys will be wearing their usual boring white uniforms - shocker.
Ravens purple jersey and purple pants history
Baltimore will look to even out their record when wearing the purple on purple. Right now, they sit a game below .500 at 2-3.
It's interesting that this will be the first time the Ravens have ever worn this color combination on the road. As of today, Baltimore has only worn these uniforms at home, with mixed results. While the 2-3 record all-time isn't the most encouraging, aside from a 19-point performance against the Rams in 2022, the Ravens score a considerable amount of points when going full eggplant.
The Ravens will need to score points to keep up with the high-octane Dallas offense. It'll be a fun one in Dallas this afternoon for sure.
