For the Ravens, it's time to focus on the task at hand, forget about that silly loss to the Browns, and lock into winning the remainder of the schedule to clinch both a postseason berth and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

What better to get ready for that than going all-black in a pivotal AFC North matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football? Nothing, so that's what Baltimore will be doing this midweek by donning black jerseys on top of black pants!

This is the first time this season the Flock is going all-black, and the third time between the 2022 and 2023 season as they will try to add another win to their currently balanced 1-1 record while using this combination threads.

If you check the 2022 Ravens Wardrobe over Ravens Uniform Tracker, you'll find out how they did with every one of the different jersey and pants combinations.

Ravens will go Black-on-Black against the Bengals

Last year, all the way back in October as part of the fifth week of the regular season, Baltimore already was clad in black for a matchup against Cincy. The result? A close-but-solid 19-17 victory that put the Ravens up 3-2 in the early season while dropping the Bengals to a negative 2-3 record.

Things would go south the next time the Ravens decided to go dark, however, as they dropped another close AFC North affair to Pittsburgh by a 16-13 final score on the second day of January.

It's worth noting that Lamar Jackson was injured back then and Tyler Huntley had to start for the Ravens. He wasn't bad (14 completions for 130 yards and a touchdown against one interception) but a horrid 0-10 fourth-quarter by the Steelers buried the Ravens hopes for a victory.

All things considered, the Ravens did reasonably well while going all-black and things are looking quite bright (pun intended) entering TNF against a struggling Bengals franchise that might suffer another loss (as they did in Week 2) against Baltimore.
