Baltimore Ravens fans have gotten to laugh at the Pittsburgh Steelers a lot this week. First, the Ravens ended the Steelers' season on Saturday night after handing them a 28-14 loss in the wild card round. The latest humor comes courtesy of George Pickens, who reportedly showed up late to the Steelers' Christmas Day game against the Chiefs.
According to The Athletic, Pickens didn't show up until an hour and 25 minutes before kickoff when head coach Mike Tomlin had requested that his players be at Acrisure Stadium at least two hours before the game began. Pickens is once again causing drama in Pittsburgh and it's hard for Ravens fans not to kick back with a bucket of popcorn and enjoy the show.
George Pickens is at it again for the Steelers and Ravens fans are loving it
With each new instance of Pickens stirring up trouble in Pittsburgh, it only makes it more likely that the Steelers will trade the problematic receiver in the offseason. This, of course, would make life easier for the Ravens.
While it's not fun to compliment the Steelers, Pickens makes them a better team so having him out of the picture would be a huge win for the Baltimore Ravens. Getting him out of the conference altogether would be the ideal scenario but hey, Ravens fans should take what they can get.
More Ravens news:
In his two games against the Ravens this season, Pickens had 13 catches for 176 yards and a touchdown. He's been lethal against Baltimore so getting him out of the division would help the Ravens out in a big way.
In the meantime, Ravens fans should sit back and enjoy watching the drama unfold in Pittsburgh. It was already funny enough that the Ravens ended the Steelers' season and increased their losing streak in the playoffs but now the Steelers are continuing to provide entertainment even with their season over.
Thanks for the entertainment, Pickens. Hopefully he's traded this offseason and the Steelers' offense goes back to having absolutely no one talented on it.
