Monday was day 14 of Ravens training camp, and it was also the third and final day of joint practices between the Ravens and the 49ers, better known as HarbCamp.  Today’s practice saw some big plays from young players, Torrey Smith playing special teams, and yet another day with no fights.  Here are all your quick hits for day 14.

-2013 fourth round pick  and reserve outside linebacker John Simon made the play of the day with a one handed deflection turned interception.

-Elvis Dumervil also had a pick against Colin Kaepernick that would have easily gone for a touchdown in a real game situation.

-Torrey Smith had another beautiful catch in the end zone, hauling it in over his shoulder and keeping his feet inbounds.  Smith also surprisingly returned some punts, which we hope won’t carry over to the regular season.  Smith is way to valuable to get hurt doing silly things like that.

More from Ravens News

-DeAngelo Tyson has to step up after season ending injuries to Kapron Lewis-Moore and Brent Urban, and he did a good job today, even knocking down a pass during one drill.

-Terrence Brooks once again got some valuable reps, this time with the first team at nickleback and second team at free safety, thanks to all the injuries at corner.

-Joe Flacco is getting the ball out quickly and is getting better at throwing it away when there is no one open.

-Kamar Aiken continues to impress with his sure hands and ability to haul in the tough passes in traffic.

-Dennis Pitta (ankle) returned to practice but then left early to get some more rest for his “tweak.”  Lardarius Webb (back), Asa Jackson (ankle), Ryan Jensen (ankle), Will Rackey (head), and Brynden Trawick (back) missed practice.  Webb told reporters that he will be back soon.

-The Ravens are off Tuesday, and then practice Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  Friday is the last day of training camp.
