The Ravens have predictably struggled the last couple of weeks while starting two rookies on the left side of their offensive line. Thankfully, it looks like starters Kelechi Osemele and Eugene Monroe are close to getting back on the field after both returned to practice on Wednesday.

Osemele and Monroe both put in some practice time last week but were ultimately held out against the Falcons.  The move paid off as both now appear likely to be ready for this week’s showdown in Cincinnati with the Bengals in what is an important divisional game.  While the Falcons don’t have a fearsome pass rush, the Bengals pose more of a threat along the defensive line.

Missing Wednesday’s practice were Owen Daniels and Chris Canty.  Canty is still recovering from wrist surgery and is considered day to day.  He isn’t looking very likely to play this week.  Daniels typically rests on Wednesdays as a veteran, especially since the Ravens lost Dennis Pitta to a season ending injury.

Stay tuned for Friday afternoon’s official injury report, but at this time things are looking up for the Raven’s offensive line and Joe Flacco.
