The Baltimore Ravens have a heated showdown lying ahead on Monday Night Football in Week 3. They are matched up with the Detroit Lions, and with two competitive teams going at it, the Ravens need the best from all their contributors.

While Baltimore has one of the best-crafted rosters in the league, they have plenty of players who have been underperforming thus far. Others are quickly losing out on playing time, and if they do not pick up the pace soon, they could find themselves out of the equation entirely.

In the case of these two players, the pressure is mounting even just three weeks into the NFL season.

Andrew Vorhees

Baltimore’s offensive line has been a significant problem early on. Despite being the highest scoring offense, dropping 81 points in their first two contests, the operations up front have been inconsistent. Starting left guard Andrew Vorhees has had the most trouble finding success in the early going.

Vorhees has registered a 35.4 overall grade so far in 2025, per Pro Football Focus (PFF). That ranks 87th out of 88 qualifying guards. He has been far below average in both the pass and run, and his Week 2 performance versus the Cleveland Browns was one of the worst by any player this season. He finished with a horrific 5.3 pass blocking grade and 49.0 run blocking grade, per PFF.

The 26-year-old was not in a sturdy spot to begin with. He beat out fellow guard Ben Cleveland for the left guard job in a tight battle this offseason, and if he cannot get it together against Detroit, Baltimore may give the veteran Cleveland a shot soon.

David Ojabo

With the injury to Kyle Van Noy, the Ravens could make fourth-year pass rusher David Ojabo active for the first time this year. Ojabo has been a healthy scratch through the first two games due to the crowded outside linebacker room. Now, with a starter down, the former Michigan standout should get his opportunity.

Ojabo is ready to attack the chance being offered. Despite not seeing the field this season, he has remained ready and seems poised to seize the moment. In an interview with WJZ’s Alex Glaze, Ojabo spoke about his outlook for Monday night.

“It’s showtime,” Ojabo said. “You've got to be grateful, and you've got to stay ready like you’re active every week. It’s a week-to-week sport, you never know, so thank you, God. It’s my time, it’s my chance.”

There is no telling how many snaps Ojabo will see, but he has to come out guns blazing. The 25-year-old is in a contract year and has yet to prove himself. He is finally healthy and well-recovered from his previous Achilles and ACL tears, so without Van Noy for a couple of weeks, the moment is his. We will see what he makes of it.

There is still plenty of season left, but given Vorhees’ and Ojabo’s current situations, their reps against the Lions could mean everything for their future.
