Preview: Is there a more fitting, premiere rivalry matchup to occupy Wild Card weekend’s Saturday night spot? We think not. The Ravens, who are 0-3 all time at Heinz Field in the playoffs, are out to break that streak and continue down the road to the Super Bowl. But they must overcome their fiercest rival to do so.
The Steelers are in the playoffs by virtue of winning the AFC North last Sunday night, when they overtook the Bengals with ease. The Ravens didn’t get in quite as fashionably, defeating the Browns by staging a fourth quarter comeback and waiting for the Chiefs to defeat the Chargers.

Both teams sport top ten NFL offenses and bottom ten NFL pass defenses, which might normally mean a high scoring affair. But the forecast for Saturday night is calling for a wintry mix, which might make things slippery. The Steelers also might be missing star running back Le’Veon Bell, who hyperextended his knee in last week’s victory.
Momentum for this game is most certainly in favor of the Steelers, who have won four straight on the back of a dominant offense. The Ravens, meanwhile, have been very much up and down while their offense has mostly sputtered over the last five weeks. It would take a Steel City miracle for the Ravens to pull off an upset, but it isn’t out of the question. Just a couple of years ago we saw what this team can do when it gets hot down the stretch.
