Jun 12, 2013; Owings Mills, MD, USA; Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs (55) gets interviewed after mini camp at Under Armour Performance Center. Mandatory Credit: Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY SportsOn the second day of Raven’s mandatory minicamp it looked like the weather wasn’t the only thing that was heating up the field. Tempers flared as a couple of fights broke out, beginning with TE Crockett Gillmore and DT Timmy Jernigan. Afterwards, Jernigan had a few words for the press:
Timmy Jernigan got into a scuffle with Crockett Gilmore Jernigan 'I'm not going to be a pushover it's over now we're teammates'

Round 2 kicked off with Steve Smith taking on Ladarius Webb in a war of shoving and (censored) words. The biggest surprise here is that Smith made it through day one without an altercation.
2nd #Ravens fight was better: Steve Smith shoves Lardarius Webb after the CB contested a pass too vigorously for minicamp. Webb shoved back.

We also got to hear from Terrell Suggs in the presser, and he for one enjoys the heat that Smith brings on the practice field.

Suggs admitted that he put on a few pounds towards the end of the season and that hurt his production. He also touched base on how it was “agonizing” to miss the playoffs and sit through the offseason. Suggs also had high praise for Gary Kubiak and is glad he is on board.
The wide receiving core looked pretty rusty and committed a few drops, one of which was intercepted by Deji Olatoye. Not a good look for Marlon Brown, who is trying to stay relevant after he went from the second receiving option to maybe the fourth or fifth in one offseason.
Marlon Brown dropped pass intercepted by rookie corner Deji Olatoye. Too many drops at practice today, couple by Brown, one by Jacoby Jones

Kapron Lewis-Moore didn’t practice today after suffering a left hamstring injury in yesterday’s practice. Lewis-Moore didn’t play last year after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the BCS championship game.
