The NFL takes a multi week break this time of year, allowing players to pretty much do what they please with their time off. While this means that some will inevitably get into trouble, it can be pretty interesting to see what they do.  After all, players are people like us who take vacations and spend time with their families. Maybe their vacations are a little nicer than ours, but you get the point.

Sarah Ellison over at the Raven’s official site is shedding light on how some of the Raven’s players are spending their time this summer.  Refreshingly at least two guys are working out, including Steve Smith and Eugene Monroe.  Smith is spending time at D1 Sports Training in Charlotte, and Monroe is getting in his two-a-days at the Under Armour Performance Center.

More from Ravens News

Terrell Suggs is vacationing across Europe, and is currently in Rome.  Chris Canty made an appearance on NBC Sports, and Justin Tucker is doing yoga and making music.  Bernard Pierce was seen (spectating, thankfully) at a golf tournament.  All the Raven’s rookies are en route to the NFL’s rookie symposium.

Social media sites like Instagram and Twitter give us unprecedented access into the lives of our favorite athletes, and the aforementioned ones are letting us keep tabs on their offseason activities.  Beats having to rely on the paparazzi, I suppose.

How are you coping with the next few weeks without football?
