Coaching: A

I tend to be a little hard on the coaches in this space, so I’ll give them credit this week for one heck of a performance in the face of serious adversity.  After losing one of their best defensive players in a hugely disappointing way, this team didn’t even seem to be effected by it.  In fact (dare I say it), they may have even played better without Ngata on the field.

Not only that, but their best wide receiver (for the past several weeks) and best running back were either partially or completely limited and the offense didn’t miss a beat.  After a sloppy and undisciplined performance last week and early on this week on defense, the Ravens pulled it together and dominated the Dolphins in every phase of the game.  And suddenly this is a team that appears poised to make a playoff run, sitting only a half game out of first place in the AFC North.
