Preview: One week after picking up a pivotal road win against the Miami Dolphins to keep their playoff hopes alive, the Baltimore Ravens travel to the friendly confines of M&T Bank Stadium to host the 2-11 Jacksonville Jaguars in week 15. By all accounts, the Ravens should win this game without any trouble. But they would be wise to not underestimate their opponent.
The Jaguars went toe to toe with the Indianapolis Colts in Indy, and upset the New York Giants in Jacksonville just a couple of weeks ago. They even held the lead against the Texans last week headed into halftime. This is a young, scrappy team that has not stopped fighting or improving from week to week.

The Jags even hold the all time edge between these two teams, 10-7. But they haven’t beaten the Ravens since 2008, with their last meeting in 2011 going to Baltimore. Obviously, a lot of things have changed in the last six years. The Jags have one of the worst defenses in the NFL, ranking 28th against the run and pass. The Ravens are #4 against the run, but 32nd against the pass.
The Ravens’ league worst pass defense wasn’t a factor last week against the Dolphins as the excellent pass rush gave Ryan Tannehill little time to throw, and the run defense continued its dominance by holding the Phins to 63 yards on the ground. Expect more of the same this week, with even better results. Blake Bortles is 25th out of 28 quarterbacks in passing under pressure, and he will struggle against a dominant Ravens’ pass rush.
Betting Line: Ravens -13 1/2, 45u -10
Prediction: Ravens 35, Jaguars 21
