Welcome to the Daily Caw, where we round up all the latest Ravens news and notes from around the web for your convenience. Today we look at some expert picks for Sunday’s game when the Texans seem likely to start Case Keenum, Andre Johnson seems likely to return to the field, and the latest injury updates.
Last week, everybody was on the Ravens’ train, and this week it’s the same thing. All 13 ESPN “experts” are picking the Ravens to beat the Texans this Sunday.
Texans head coach Bill O’Brian is trying to play coy by refusing to announce who will start at quarterback Sunday, but all signs point to Case Keenum. Keenum spent the offseason with the Texans and simply knows the offense better than Thad Lewis at this point.

Andre Johnson Clears Concussion Protocol
Johnson should be all systems go on Sunday, which is bad news for the Ravens. It remains to be seen if the Texans can get him the ball, of course, via their uninspiring quarterback options.
Ravens Won’t Name Starting Cornerback
Defensive coordinator Dean Pees says the team hasn’t decided who will take Asa Jackson’s place in the lineup just yet. I think that Rashaan Melvin deserves another shot based on his play last week, but the team could go with more experienced options in Anthony Levine or Antoine Cason.
Rick Wagner Hopes to Contain J.J. Watt
The two were teammates at Wisconsin, and Sunday will be a huge test for Wagner, who is currently the #1 rated right tackle by Pro Football Focus. Watt is the #1 rated DE.
Returning to practice Thursday were Will Hill, Jacoby Jones, and Kelechi Osemele.
