Are the Ravens Recruiting Brandon Marshall?

A lot of folks are playing connect the dots here with Brandon Marshall reportedly not happy with the direction the Bears are currently headed in.  He is also a true number one wide receiver with a proven track record, though he is entering the twilight of his career as he prepares to turn 31.  Much like Steve Smith, Brandon Marshall is known to speak his mind.  But the added dimension he could bring to the Ravens offense might make it a risk worth taking.

Ravens Salary Cap Situation

It’s safe to say that the number one priority for the Ravens’ brain trust is creating more salary cap space. As of right now, they don’t have a lot of breathing room as they are estimated to be around $141.9 million for 2015.  The NFL hasn’t announced the cap limit for 2015, but early estimates peg it between $140 and $145 million.
