The Houston Texans released wide receiver Andre Johnson on Monday, a move that was completely expected after the team told him they were going to reduce his role in 2015.  Many pundits have linked the 12 year veteran to the Baltimore Ravens, who are in the market for a big bodied wide receiver after seemingly losing Torrey Smith.

The popular school of thought is that Johnson will want to finish his career on a team that can contend for a Super Bowl title, as he at best might have a year or two of effective football left.  The Ravens fit the bill after going toe to toe in the playoffs with the eventual Super Bowl champion New England Patriots last season, but apparently they are not on Andre Johnson’s short list of teams he would like to play for. At least according to his brother.

ESPN’s Terry Blount tweeted out four teams that Johnson’s brother named early Tuesday morning.

Hopefully Johnson’s brother just forgot to include the Ravens on his list.  I have a good feeling that the two would make an excellent pair, giving the Ravens a big target for Joe Flacco as well as positioning Johnson for a solid shot at winning a Super Bowl ring before he decides to hang up the cleats for good.
