The NFL isn’t playing around while it works to make the offseason shorter and shorter, with lots of interesting events and news items to fill the dreaded void.  And while they aren’t ready to roll out the cream of the crop yet – the 2015 regular season schedule – we at least have the Baltimore Ravens 2015 preseason schedule to lull over in the meantime.

Without further ado, we’ve got the schedule for your viewing (and party planning) pleasure.

Aug. 13: New Orleans at Baltimore

Aug. 21 or 22: Baltimore at Philadelphia

Aug. 28 or 29: Washington at Baltimore

Sept. 3: Baltimore at Atlanta

Like past years, the Ravens are facing regional opponents, none of whom they will see during the regular season.  Last year was an exception to that rule, of course, with the Ravens playing the 49ers and Saints in both real and fake games.

2015 will mark the third time the Ravens have faced the Saints in the preseason (2005 and 2014 previously) and they have won both games, while they have faced the Eagles 11 times in the past with a record of 7-4.  The last meeting between the two came in 2011.

Playing Washington at home in the third preseason game is a nice boost for fans, as the third contest typically represents a dress rehearsal for the regular season.  It’s the ninth meeting of these two teams, with the Ravens holding the all-time edge with a record of 6-2.

This will also mark the 9th time in 12 seasons that the Ravens have faced the Falcons in the preseason, with 10 games total.  The Ravens hold the edge here as well, with an all-time record of 7-3.

In case you haven’t detected the trend by now, the Ravens have historically been very good in the preseason, holding a 46-29 record over the team’s existence.

While it’s nice to get a hold of the preseason schedule today, it just makes us even hungrier for the regular season schedule.  How about you?
