Taylor was the first wideout that the Ravens selected in the first round with the tenth overall pick in the 2000 NFL draft.  Taylor recorded  a disappointing 2,758 receiving yards and 15 receiving before he was cut loose by the Ravens.

Taylor’s best season with Baltimore came in 2002, when he compiled 61 catches for 869 yards and six touchdowns. The Ravens were expecting big things from Taylor but he just failed to live up to their expectations.

Taylor did win a Super Bowl ring during his rookie season in 2000. After leaving the Ravens, Taylor spent time with the Minnesota Vikings (2005-2006), the Oakland Raiders (2007), the St. Louis Rams (2007), the Carolina Panthers (2007, off-season or practice squad), and the Detroit Lions (2007, off-season or practice squad). Taylor finished his career with 312 receptions, 4,017 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns.
